Lear's Shadow

A college theater student struggles with insecurity, isolation, and a deteriorating mental state.
​His anxieties are realized when he becomes haunted by the ghosts of the theater.

Gregor Patti
​​     Gregor Patti is a New York based actor originally from Jackson, Mississippi. He received his BFA in Acting for Stage & Screen from the University of Mississippi. His most recent film credits include John Carter in The Jacksons (LEAD, Snakebird Productions) and Chase's Friend in Where the Crawdads Sing (FEATURED EXTRA, Sony).  His most recent theatrical credits include Silvius in As You Like It, his London debut, and RENT with the Nashville Repertory Theatre.  When he is not performing, Gregor spends his time writing poetry and music and recently published his first volume of poetry in the form of a zine titled "When Spring Comes at Last: a S.A.D. Zine".
     Devin Burnam is a performer, writer, and musician from Brooklyn. He collaborates on often site-specific theatre with Sea Dog Theater, Mason Holdings, and Sister Sylvester, as well as through his own production company, Abandoned Gas Station. He recently staged a new solo show, How Not to Buy a Boat, through the Uncommon Artist Residency at Soundview/Harbor Front in Greenport, NY. Other recent work includes By the Time Kurt Cobain Was Your Age, He Was Dead at Collapsable Hole; Thoughts from the Beginning of the End, with Sea Dog Theatre; Consumption: an Historical Fib, with Mason Holdings. Also, The Reading, directed by Nora Jaenicke; The 3rd Ear, directed by Nathan Ginter; Neon Rage, directed by Alejandra Parody. He will be performing in Romeo & Juliet with Woodshill Theatre in upstate New York this summer, and his play Catastrophe Club will begin workshop production in LA in June. He is very excited to be starring in Tendency Holdings' Countdown to Us, a limited TV series written & directed by Elle Diken in late 2023 & early 2024. About the Director

     Michael Cherry is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker, who has had experience writing, directing, and editing several short films throughout his career. Having earned his BFA in Film/Video Production from Pratt Institute, Michael has dabbled in many various genres and cinematic mediums over the years, including narrative shorts as well as experimental and interview-form documentaries. He is  primarily focused on creating dramatic works that veer into various genres, creating a combined effect that is at one time surreal, and other times realistic. The dissolution of reality, perspective, and existentialism are frequent themes in his work, and he often tries to explore the nature of the human psyche by setting his stories in dark, challenging environments.
